Step 1. Slide the typegauge over the text until the baseline is on top of the baseline of the text you want to measure.

Step 2. Check the size:

• Does the type fill the space between the lines, and can the round letters just been seen above and below the black bar?

• Are the baselines of two subsequent lines of text at least 3 mm apart?
